Fall: -Lesson was on lower-levels of Bloom's Taxonomy (Knowledge, Comprehension) -Students read and gathered information to present to class -Students worked in cooperative learning groups, but were not given specific tasks in groups -All students were responsible for obtaining other sections of reading through group presentations -Not all groups took presentation seriously or had all of the material on their posters which prevented other students from getting material -Teacher was active part of most of the lesson | Spring: -Responsibility of learning and transferring knowledge was on students -Teacher acted as facilitator -Students applied knowledge to evaluate statements -Students actively engaged in listening to classmates and responding with evidence to support a counter-argument -Higher level of Bloom's Taxonomy (Evaluation) |
